the recent entry of vodofone
and Re-positioning of the brand Hutch to vodofone ..seems to be goin for a toss
Hutchison essar started first in 1999 when they changed from maxtouch to orange and then in 2002 when they retained orange and changed in to hutch and in 2005 to pink hutch and now into vodofone..
when they did it in 2005 their base was 10 million, now its 35 million and its estimated that it will cost them 500 crores for this exercise..
Do you think its wise for them to come into india with their brand "vodofone" also it wont be too long for them to come out with their mobile sets..Dont u think that it will cost them too much or will they be on the right track..
